Despite facing various trials, the friendship between comedians, Shuib Sepahtu and Mamat Sepah remains intact.
Hearing Mamat's confession that she had made an intention to pray for her friend's well-being and that the difficulties she had encountered ended while performing the umrah planned for the third Aidilfitri, Shuib was very moved.
Shuib or real name, Shahmira Muhammad, 40, admitted that Mamat is his closest friend now.
"This is what a friend is called, always there in times of trouble and joy. In difficult times, you can pray for us. I never thought Mamat would make an intention to pray for me in Mecca.
"Mamat is the closest to me. We have many projects together such as dramas and single recordings. There are indeed many plans for Raya projects or others, this year.
"He knows a lot about my situation. I am grateful that Mamat took note and was moved to pray for me in the Holy Land. The reason is that a friend's prayer was also accepted and answered by Allah.
"I admit that I am facing many problems that I can say are tests in business," he said to BH Online.
Explaining the tens of millions in debt as revealed by Mamat, Shuib explained that all of it is business debt.
"My debt is more of a business debt including with government bodies. For example, the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, the Social Security Organization (SOCSO) and taxes... Everything involves business.
"This is the risk of doing business. If you do a small business, it is not so daunting. But when you do a big business, there are challenges.
"When sales reach tens of thousands of ringgit, we feel big. Then, hundreds of thousands of ringgit, now, millions of ringgit, so the risk is big. There is no business worth millions, the risk is small. "Big people say, the bigger the pot, the better the crust," he said.
However, Shuib claims his business is in good shape. What needs to be done is to manage and plan better in the future.
"If we mismanage and plan, we will face risks, but I'm okay with that. If you are a businessman, this is normal. Only when you have a great business worth millions of ringgit will you succeed.
"I will not stop with confidence. I only hold on to one thing, as long as we don't stop, we haven't failed... My business is still running.

"There are many things that need to be fixed. I'm actually not good and just a village boy. But God gives me sustenance. I consider it a gift. "Know or not, you have to do it to know," he said.
Previously, Mamat or real name, Mohd Noor Murad who will be performing umrah with Shuib, shared that he wanted to pray for ease and smoothness for his friend who is facing various trials.
Mamat and Shuib were offered to perform umrah with different travel companies, but chose to withdraw because they did not want to get involved in problems.
They were later offered to perform umrah by different agencies and will be flying to the Holy Land on this third Aidilfitri.
